Boilerplate
My Family Dinners is an iOS meal planning app for busy working parents. It turns the nightly “what's for dinner?” scramble into a few minutes of planning: build a week of realistic weeknight dinners, generate one aisle-sorted shopping list, and cook with a distraction-free step-by-step mode. Founded in 2025 and built in Virginia, My Family Dinners is free to start, with an optional Premium subscription. Learn more at myfamilydinners.com.
One-liner
“Dinner made simple, for parents who don't have time.”
The story
My Family Dinners started with a familiar problem: the hardest part of feeding a family isn't cooking, it's deciding. Two working parents, three kids between them, and the same 5pm question every night. The app was built to remove the mental load — not to teach anyone to cook, not to gamify their week, and not to sell them a lifestyle.
The result is deliberately small. Plan a week. Shop from one list. Cook without ads. Everything else was left out on purpose.
